1. Will Dr. Jezequel accept late work?
No (refer to syllabus).
2. What if I am absent on the day an assignment (ie: lab report) is due?
If you have an excused absence on the day an assignment is due, your work must be turned in at the beginning of the next class you attend. Please note that projects are due "no later than" a specific date and students are strongly encouraged to turn projects in prior to this date. Accordingly, being absent on the day a project is due will result in a grade of "0" (if the project has not been previously submitted).
3. What if I am absent on the day a project (or AP Psychology vocabulary book) is due?
Projects (and AP Psychology vocabulary) are due "no later than" a specific date and students are encouraged to turn projects/vocabulary in prior to this date. Accordingly, being absent on the day a project (or vocabulary) is due will result in a grade of "0" (if the project has not already been submitted). AP Psychology vocabulary will be accepted if turned in late BUT the student will forfeit the opportunity to participate in test corrections (and a "late penalty" will be administered to the final Vocabulary grade).
4. How can I contact Dr. Jezequel?
Email is the best way ([email protected]). I check my email many times during the day, even from my home.
5. When/how can I go over a test/exam?
Students must make an appointment to see their test (before school) within three days of the grade being posted. .

8. What is the procedure for Test Corrections in AP Psychology?
AP Psychology Test Correction Policy:
***In order to be eligible to participate in Test Corrections students must have been present on the day of the exam AND have turned in accompanying vocabulary (correctly formatted) prior to the time vocab was due before the test.
**No phones are allowed on your person during test corrections! Phones must be placed in a zipped backpack or stored in the phone bucket
**Test Corrections are an independent assignment. You may NOT work with or collaborate with another student during the process.
1. Students will have a maximum of 2 school days after grades have been posted (or after all students have been tested) to come in and review their scantrons. (Check website for exact start date)
2. Unless otherwise announced, test correction sessions will be held from approximately 7:30-8:10 am.
3. Scantron and test must be checked out with Dr. J and may NOT leave the room under any circumstances.
4. Test MUST be checked back in with Dr. J before leaving the room.
5. If you attend corrections on Day #1 and complete the process; you should staple your corrections/scantron together and place in the "Psychology In" box before leaving the room. If you plan on returning on Day #2, staple your scantron/corrections together and place in the appropriately labeled pile/folder. Either way: personally hand the test you checked out back to Dr. J
6. Students are reminded that, as all questions are pulled from a national database, the content of questions and answers is NOT up for debate.
7. For questions that students answered incorrectly: Students will write out the complete question followed by the complete correct answer.
8. On the next line: Students will then justify/explain why the answer is correct.
9. On the next line: Students will reference their explanation to a specific page in the text book. Please hi-lite this reference (or circle it so that it is easily detectable on your paper.)
10. Students will neatly complete this assignment on lined loose leaf paper, staple any pages together, and submit it in the "AP Psychology In box" stapled with their scantron.
11. Students who complete this assignment within the time frame will earn approximately 1/3 the credit added to their original test grade.
12. The “test correction” option is NOT available for the final examination.
13. Students are reminded that Test Corrections are a privilege and not an obligation on the part of the instructor.
14. This is a handwritten assignment; please use your best penmanship.
15. Students must bring their own textbook and paper to Test Correction sessions.
16. Students who elect to participate in Test Corrections are expected to read these instructions prior to showing up, knowing what to do when they get to the classroom.
9. What is the format for the AP Psychology vocabulary notebook?
1. AP Psychology vocab must be completed in a separate composition notebook (Your name, "AP Psychology", and block should be written in sharpie on the front cover).
2. The first page in the vocabulary notebook must be a Table of Contents page for the prologue and each of the 18 chapters in the book. (Number the pages within your vocabulary book.)
3. Vocabulary must be done for each chapter as well as the prologue; each chapter must start on a fresh page (with the first word for that chapter numbered "1").
4. The vocab word (or term) must be on a separate line with the definition (either copied from the text OR paraphrased in your own words) beginning directly underneath the word.
5. Students may opt to write on the front and back of each page OR just the front of each page.
6. Corresponding vocab must be turned in PRIOR to the accompanying exam. Students must have turned in their vocabulary prior to an exam date (prior to the "last chance" submit time) to be eligible for test corrections privileges, even if they have an excused absence on the final acceptance due date for vocab. Accordingly, students are strongly encouraged to turn in their vocab books prior to the final acceptance day for each unit.
